Install patches on target devices

NOTE: Patch management requires a separate KACE Cloud Secure license for devices managed with a Modern or Co-Managed subscription, while it is included for devices managed with a Companion Edition subscription.
A KACE Cloud Secure trial license can be started directly from the Patching section under Libraries. To obtain a KACE Cloud Secure license, contact KACE Cloud Sales.
For more information about KACE Cloud licensing, see About subscriptions and licensing.

Optionally, you can create policy schedules to ensure the patches are deployed at specific times. By default, a policy has a full 24-hour schedule.

If your trial or KACE Cloud Secure license expires, any associated patching policies are no longer applied.

For more information about policies, see Using policies to manage device configurations.
